Set for the season

Girls on the A, B and C squads of the Abington Heights Junior Comets, ages 7 through 13 got in some practice for the 2008 fall football season on Friday, July 18. The cheerleaders were part of a one day cheering camp held by Universal Cheer Associates, at Abington Heights High School, which ran from noon to 5:30 p.m.

VFW players to represent Abington area

ABINGTONS - Each year, more than 20,000 Legion baseball players in eastern Pennsylvania compete for a position in the East-West Legion Scouts Showcase in Harrisburg. The number is dwindled down and the 21 best players in the East are hand-picked to go head-to-head with the 21 best players in the West.
