AH soccer to play at Dunmore

Abington Heights will open the state Class AA boys' soccer tournament Tuesday with a 7 p.m. game against District 3 runner-up Tulpehocken.

The Comets (20-1) are the Lackawanna League Division 1 and District 2 Class AA champions.

Tulpehocken (20-3) lost to Fleetwood, 3-2, in Saturday's District 3 final.

Other state playoff sites and matchups that have been finalized for Tuesday are:

Class AA girls' soccer -- District 2 champion Montrose (10-5) plays District 4 champion Lewisburg (19-2-1) at Hughesville at 5.

Class A girls' volleyball -- District 2 champion MMI Prep plays District 11 champion Pottsville Nativity at Pottsville's Martz Hall at 6.
