Abington physicals scheduled for August

Physical examinations for all Abington Heights athletes planning to participate in the fall sports season have been scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 6, in the Abington Heights High School Field House as follows:

• Grades seven and eight, 3 to 4 p.m.

• Grades nine and 10, 4 to 5 p.m.

• Grades 11 and 12, 5 to 6 p.m.

The fee for each physical examination is $10. Physical cards, insurance forms, and completed athletic codes forms must be submitted to the coach on the first day of the practice. PIAA forms are available at all schools in the district and at the Administration Building, 200 E. Grove St., Clarks Summit. These forms must be signed by parents and turned in on the date of physical examination.

Physical examination is mandatory to be considered eligible to compete.
