Basketball leagues forming

The Pace Settler Athletic Club independent basketball organization of Northeastern Pa. will sponsor and operate a winter basketball league at Weston Field located at 340 N. Washington Ave. in Scranton.

The league will have both boys and girls divisions, and the boys division will have two separate leagues.

There will be a fifth and sixth grade league and a seventh and eighth grade league.

The leagues will begin the week of Dec. 7 and run through the week of Feb. 8.

Games will be played in the evening at 5 p.m., 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Each team will be guaranteed to play in ten regular season games.
