Boys and Girls Clubs offer fitness competition

The Boys and Girls Clubs of NEPA presents a fitness program/competition, which is an opportunity for community youth to participate, free of charge, in fitness competition held at the Club gymnasium located at 609 Ash Street, Scranton.

“NBA Fit / WNBA Fit Dribble, Dish and Swish” will take place on Monday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m. This program seeks to ensure the availability of the program to all young basketball players in this area. It is also intended to encourage youth participants, and emphasize both fitness elements and basketball competition. This allows youth to not only compete, but also gain core basketball skills. This program is geared for boys and girls age seven to 12.

Participants may register the day of the event, and must bring a copy of their birth certificate and complete a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the programs.
