Camp Hill eliminates Holy Cross

Camp Hill shut out Holy Cross, 2-0, in a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class A boys' soccer quarterfinal Saturday afternoon in Whitehall.

The day's results saw the last of the non-football teams from District 2 eliminated from the fall state playoffs.

Holy Redeemer lost a tough Class AA girls' volleyball semifinal to Merion-Mercy, 22-25, 25-21, 25-14, 18-25, 15-5, before Merion-Mercy captured the state title with a three-game sweep of Brandywine Heights.

Unbeaten Lehighton shut out Crestwood, 1-0, in the Class AA field hockey quarterfinals.
