Carissa Ryan leaves Keystone College

Dr. Matthew Grimaldi, Director of Athletics at Keystone College, has announced that Carissa Ryan has resigned her position as head women’s basketball coach at the college.

Ryan, who also served as the senior Women’s Administrator for Keystone athletic department, will be leaving Keystone to pursue other career interested.

In four seasons at the helm of the Giants’ women’s program, Ryan compiled a mark of 49-56 (.466). She led the program to a pair of conference championship game appearances and one regular season conference title. In addition, all four career 1,000 point scorers in the program played for Ryan.

Over the past four years Ryan saw eight of her players go on to earn All-Conference post season honors, with Ryan herself picking up 2005 Coach of the Year honors in the North Eastern Athletic Conference.
