For the third year in a row, the BMX state championship was held at Cedar BMX track in Ransom. The state championship was held Sunday, August 24 winners included Cedar BMX riders William Scarine, Rachel Scarine, Melinda Teel. Bradley Saldi, Thomas Missal, Joseph O’Malley and Matthew Merrifield.

Cedar BMX has regular races every Thursday and Saturday night, admission is free. Anyone interested in racing must be a member, but free one-day memberships are available for anyone interested in just trying it out. Registration is from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays, and 6 to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, with the race starting immediately afterward.
