The University of Charleston (W.Va.) scored goals eight minutes apart midway through the first half Friday afternoon to eliminate fourth-ranked Millersville University from the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II national tournament, 2-0, in a game played at Slippery Rock.
Anthony Pagnotti, a forward from Abington Heights, was in the starting lineup for Millersville. Pagnotti played the entire first half and 70 of 90 minutes in the game.
Pagnotti's shot, which resulted in one of five saves by Sean Teepen, was the only one Millersville managed in the final 22 minutes.
