Lackawanna Trail Basketball team announces upcoming events

The Lackawanna Trail basketball team will hold its annual players brunch on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Gin’s Tavern, located at 200 Riverside Dr., Factoryville.

Everyone from the area is welcome to attend. To reserve a seat, email head coach Andrew Kettel at andrew@coachkettel.com.

Cost is adults $10, children $5.

On Thursday, Dec. 10, the team will hold its annual “Meet the Lions” pep rally. The night features door prizes, a DJ, alumni game and a chance to meet the 2009-10 Lackawanna Trail High School basketball team.

Cost is $2 for adults, $1 for students and children.

All the money raised at both events will go towards the basketball team.
