Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre will be the site of the Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Championships March 26 and 27, with 1,250 wrestlers expected to attend the two -day event.

This marks the first time in the event’s 40-plus year’s history that it will be held in the Northeast part of the state.
The committee, which consists of several local wrestlers, coaches and members of the business community, has worked hard to have this prestigious event held in the area for 2010 and 2011.
Sponsorships for one of the largest wrestling tournament held in the state are still available.
