Physicals set for Lakeland fall athletes
Sports physicals for all athletes planning to participate in fall sports at Lakeland will be held in the nurse’s office at Lakeland High School on the following dates and times:
Saturday, July 26: Football, 9 a.m.; cross country, 11 a.m.; golf, 11:30 a.m.
Saturday, Aug. 2: Soccer, 8:30 a.m.; cheerleaders, 11 a.m.; seventh and eighth grade girls basketball, 11:30 a.m.
Students who plan on participating in any fall sport during the 2008 school year are required to have completed PIAA physical evaluation forms in the office before participating in any sport or practice. Forms can be picked up at the High School Office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Students will not be allowed to participate in any sport without a completed physical examination and a completed PIAA form.
