Revolution Ice Centre to host members of Pittsburgh Penguins

Revolution Ice Centre, Northeastern Pennsylvania’s premiere hockey and ice skating facility, is pleased to announce that Pittsburgh Penguins players Evgeni Malkin and Sergei Gonchar will appear Thursday, Sept. 10, at Revolution Hockey Training Centre in Dunmore and the Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston.

“We’re thrilled to host members of Pittsburgh’s Stanley Cup team,” said Ken Weber, general manager for Revolution facilities. “They represent the very best in the world in their sport, and that’s something we strive toward every day.”

Malkin and Gonchar will appear at the Revolution Hockey Training Centre in Dunmore Sept. 10, from 4 to 5 p.m., and the Revolution Ice Centre,formerly the Ice Box Skating Complex, in Pittston from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The players will be available to meet fans and sign autographs for approximately one hour at each location.

The players’ appearance will kick off the grand reopening weekend of the Revolution Ice Centre, scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11. For a complete schedule of events and services, visit www.skatenepa.com.
