TCMC begins evaluation

Evaluators from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) recently reviewed The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC) for accreditation candidacy status. This was the first step in the process of obtaining full accreditation by the MSCHE and will enable students to apply to the federal government in the Title IV program for access to federal loans as well as other scholarship and grant opportunities.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is a voluntary membership association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education that accredits degree-granting colleges and universities and promotes and maintains education excellence and quality across institutions. To earn and maintain full accreditation, colleges and universities must demonstrate to colleagues from peer institutions that they meet or surpass mutually agreed-upon standards.
