EXETER: The Cosmopolitan Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. on March 5 in St. Anthony Center. Hosts and hostesses are Lou Bryja, Rosalie Ferrara, Sam Ferrara, Edith Jones and Bernie Petrasek.

Travel coordinator Johanna is accepting reservations for a trip to Mount Airy Casino on March 20. Pick ups will be in Exeter and Pittston. For details call Johanna at 655-2720.

FALLS: Members and friends of the Falls Senior Center, State Route 92, recently enjoyed a Valentine’s party with special music by Stewart Atkinson on the saxaphone, Carlene Howard on the piano and Ron Jackson on the guitar.

The crocheting club meets 1-2 p.m. every Monday. All levels welcome to help complete 35 pairs of slippers and 35 lap blankets for the homebound Christmas project.

FORTY FORT: AFSCME Retirees Sub Chapter 8702 has a location change for the Wilkes-Barre chapter, Luzerne County meeting at 1 p.m. on March 21.

The new location will be in the Luzerne County West Side Annex building, 2009 Wyoming Ave., next to the Forty Fort airport hanger. Meetings are at 1 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month. Open to all retirees.

LUZERNE/WYOMING: March is National Nutrition Month and the Area Agency of Aging announces its 18 senior centers will celebrate the month with a special luncheon on March 20. There will also be healthy snacks, presentations and recipe exchanges throughout the month.

SWOYERSVILLE: The Swoyersville Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hall. A social Valentine’s hour was held at the last meeting and the 50-50 winners were Mario Zucko, Eleanor Cheskewicz and Arlene Gomba.

Celebrating birthdays in February are Madeline Barusk, Arlene Gomba and Helen Yurevich.
