Blind singer will perform at SUMC

The Shavertown United Methodist Church Fine Arts Series will present Ken Medema in concert at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13, at the church, 163 N. Pioneer Ave., Shavertown.

Ken Medema will present a concert at the Shavertown United Methdist Church on September 13.

A world-renowned Christian recording artist, composer, singer and pianist, Medema has appeared frequently as a guest on “Hour of Power” with Dr. Robert Schuler at the Crystal Cathedral.

Blind from birth, Medema has the ability to summarize a sermon, a testimony or a discussion with an impromptu song that embodies what was said. He will participate in the 9:30 a.m. worship service as well.

Concert tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth/children and may be purchased at the door or by calling 675-3616.
