A Day of Music and Art Festival will take place from 1-6 p.m. Sept. 20 at Dallas United Methodist Church, 4 Parsonage St., Dallas. There will be displays, a quilt show, works by local artists, jewelry by Laura Slocum, needlework, carvings and much more. Music beings at 6:30 in the sanctuary with the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Senior Choir, the Rev. Gideon Gaitano, organist Mark Pall, the Dallas United Methodist Church Children’s Choir, Dallas High School Barbershoppers, Regan Palfrey on trumpet, pianist Peter Uritz and others. A free-will offering will be taken to aid the Rev. Cottle and family. Refreshments will follow.
