High school juniors prepare for mission trip

Twelve high school juniors from Northeastern Pennsylvania, selected by the Pontifical Mission Society in the U.S., are preparing for their two-week summer mission trip to work and interact with people at the St. Bonaventure Indian Mission and School, Thoreau, New Mexico. They will work with missionaries, priests and laypersons serving disadvantaged children and adults on the reservation. Some of the projects will include winterization and repairs to homes, summer Bible school programs for children and other reach-out services to poor Navajo children, families and elders.
