Artistic Director Kristin Degnan has announced that Ballet Northeast will present its 26th annual full-length traditional “Nutcracker” at Wilkes University’s Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts with performances at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 18 and 19, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20.

Featured in the principal roles of the sugarplum Fair and her Cavalier will be Ballet Northeast soloist Julie Degnan, of Harveys Lake, and guest professional artist Nikolai Morschakov.
Joining them in major supporting roles will be BNE senior corps soloists Mia Carlson, Kelly Ferrell, T.J. Firneno Jesse Florance, Juliana Gorman, Sara Lawson, Katharaine Marianacci, Dallas; and Mary Kathryn Siejak.
Other corps members who will alternate leaders in the part scene and in the second act’s ethnic variations will be Mary Sharon Ciaccia, Harveys Lake; Susan Corletta, Louise Gerstle, Sandrine Gibbons, Megan Ferrell, Jamie Goldstein, Kevin Hettrick, Taylor Kazimi, Lisa Lombardo, Mary Mash, Joy Nave, Dallas; Victoria Rendina, Mikaela Rowe, Grace Shaub, Dallas; Maggie Sullivan, Molly Thornton, Tiffany Usavage, Anna Weiss, Devon Wolfkiel and Brenda Zagar.
Supporting roles include Dallas residents Emily Baranowski, Madison Dewees, Cory Finn and Sarah Stec.
Other dancers in supporting roles are Olivia Andress, Avery Chepolis, Jordyn Chepolis, Mary Therese Ciaccia, Harveys Lake; Hannah Bonk, Shavertown; Danielle Gendler, Markayla Harrison, Trucksville; Chava Kornblatt, Anna Lucas, Karly Milazzo, Shavertown; Anna O’Connell, Harveys Lake; Sarah O’Hara, Alexandra Peck, Alessandra Price, Amanda Ruppert, Molly Thornton, Abigail Quinnan, Shavertown; Amanda Siejak, Sophie Snell, Shavertown; Abby Williams and Emily Williams.
