Motorcycle show to benefit children’s association

The 14th annual Wyoming Valley Thunder Motorcycle Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, at the 109th Armory, Kingston.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Wyoming Valley Children’s Association, a United Way agency which provides therapy to local children who have disabilities and preschool education to all children.

Admission to the show, held in coordination with Wyoming Valley Motorcycle Club, is $5 (children ages 8 years and younger are admitted free) and the public is invited to attend.

The show is a People’s Choice Bike Show and all motorcycle owners and enthusiasts are invited to enter their bikes in the show at a cost of $10 per bike. Prizes will be awarded to the top 15 bikes (based on number of votes received).

The show will feature motorcycles and other merchandise from local motorcycle shops and vendors. Pocono Mountain Leather will present a biker-style fashion show at noon and 2 p.m. and the Bare Knuckle Band will perform throughout the day. Food vendors and a face painter will also be at the show.

The motorcycle show is being sponsored by Pride Mobility Products Corp., as well as EastCoastBiker.net, the 109th Armory, Lamar Advertising, Fox 56, The Weekender, Mozip Sign Co., First National Community Bank, Rock 107 and The Quick Printers.
