Mr. Z’s grocery store in Dallas ran a “Fight Hunger” campaign benefiting the Back Mountain Food Pantry from September 9 through September 30. Pre-packed bags of groceries containing approximately $12 worth of food were “sold” to Mr. Z’s customers for $6.99 and then the bags were donated to the pantry. Back Mountain residents purchased 199 bags.
