Schedule is announced for Summer Concert Series at Irem

Illustrious Sir David Warmen, potentate of Irem Shrine, announces the Summer Concert Series to be held at Irem Country Club, Dallas. The concerts, featuring Irem Shrine units and local talent, have been an Irem tradition for over 50 years.

The concerts are held at 8 p.m. on Sunday evenings at the country club pavilion and are open to the public.

The 2009 schedule is as follows:

July 5: The Wyoming Valley Band - The annual Independence Day concert

July 12: The Legends - Music from the 50s and 60s”

July 19: Seasoned Sounds - Big Band music

July 26: Irem Chanters – An award-winning singing group

August 2: The Whery Family - Southern Gospel music

August 9: Wyoming Valley Barbershop Harmony Chorus - The award-winning barbershop chorus

August 16: Orpheus Choral Society - Mixed chorus choral music

August 23: Irem String Band – An award-winning string band for a night of fun
