It was incorrectly reported in the October 25 issue of The Dallas Post that the Rev. Jim Paisley, pastor of St. Therese’s Church in Shavertown, will sign copies of his holiday CD, “My Grown Up Christmas Wish” at Barnes & Noble in downtown Wilkes-Barre.

Supervisors approve per capita fee to BMCP group

Supervisors voted to approve a 50 cent per capita fee, authorized a property acquisition and heard an update on the Heritage Hills development legal case at their regular monthly meeting Monday night.

Concern expressed about full-time police officers

Supervisor Frank Wagner expressed his concerns Monday evening about the township’s number of full-time police officers.

Liquid fuels allocation is lowered

On Tuesday night, supervisors announced the bad news at their monthly meeting Tuesday night that less money will be received from the state for the township’s liquid fuels funds.
