Kristin Barrick has recently accepted the position of instrumental music teacher/marching band director for the award-winning Lake-Lehman Junior/Senior High School Band.

Gunshannon

Originally from Quakertown, Barrick graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.

Melissa Gunshannon joins PSU/WB staff

Melissa Gunshannon has been campus Public Information Coordinator at Penn State Wilkes-Barre.

A 2009 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies. Gunshannon . was involved in numerous activities and served as Communications Chair of Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s Dance Marathon (THON) Committee and Upper Class Public Relations Chair for the campus’ Student Government Association.

Additionally, she has spent time as a Lion Ambassador and as a writer/editor for the campus newspaper.

Crispell graduates from basic infantry training

Army National Guard Sgt. John D. Crispell has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

Crispell is the son of Gladys Habeeb of Shadowbrook Lane, Tunkhannock, and Ken Crispell of Rural Route 1, Noxen.

The sergeant is a 1998 graduate of Dallas High School.
