PEOPLE BRIEFS

Wilson graduates from Syracuse University

Matthew Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wilson, of Dallas, recently graduate from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University with a dual major in finance and supply chain management.

During his junior and senior years, Wilson worked in SU’s Mary Ann Shaw Center for Public and Community Service as curriculum/ assessment director for a community service program called Balancing the Books (BTB). BTB is a financial literacy mentoring program that focuses on helping “at-risk” seventh to 10th-grade students in the Syracuse City School District.

Additonally, under the direction of Associate Head Coach Bernie Fine, Wilson worked for two summers at Jim Boeheim’s Big Orange Basketball Camp serving as a coach.

He has accepted a position as a financial management analyst with the Department of the Army and will be working at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
