Field hockey league forming

A fourth and fifth-grade field hockey winter dome team is forming. The league will start the first week of November at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome.

Lacrosse clinic set

Back Mountain Youth Lacrosse will hold a learn-to-play lacrosse clinic from 3 to 5 p.m. today, Nov. 1, at the Center Street Park in Shavertown.

The clinic, which is open to boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 17, is free for participants. Lacrosse sticks will be available.

Girls basketball clinic scheduled

A Dallas Girls Basketball Clinic will be held on Sunday, Nov. 8, in the Dallas High School gymnasium. Girls in grades 3 to 5 will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. and girls in grades 6 through 9 will meet from 4 to 6 p.m.

Cost is $20 per person and checks should be mailed to 26 Kingswood Dr., Dallas. Participants should bring sneakers and water.

Stingrays seeking players

Anyone interested in joining the Back Mountain Stingrays U11 girls travel soccer team is asked to call Dennis at 760-4893.
