Basketball, registrations slated

The Rock Recreation Center, 340 Carverton Rd., Trucksville, is now accepting registrations for it basketball and cheerleading program. An early registration discount is available before December 1 and final registration day is Saturday, Dec. 5.

BMYS hosts indoor league

Back Mountain Youth Soccer will host an indoor futsal/soccer league for ages U6 through U16 January 8 through March 15 at the Penn State Wilkes-Barre gym.

FIFA futsal ball and rules will be used. Games will be played on weekends and intramural and travel teams are welcome.

Individual players seeking a team can sign up and divisions will be set to insure fair competition.
