OBITUARIES
CARLSON – Alice A., 86, of Courtdale and, most recently, the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Courtdale, she was a graduate of Luzerne High School. Before retiring, she was employed as a seamstress by Ann-Will Garment, Kingston.
She was a member of the Courtdale United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Wilbur J. Jr., Lake Wallenpaupack; her daughter, Linda Foulkrod, Courtdale; four children; four grand-children.

GODEK - Margaret Ann, 52, died Saturday, July 4, 2009 in Lakeland, Fla.
She attended Lehman schools, St. Cyril’s Academy, Danville, and Shippensburg State University. She was employed as an auditor in the office of the state controller in the budget and administrative department, Harrisburg.
Surviving are an uncle, Jack Godek; aunt, Mary Nakonezny; and many cousins.
KITTLE - Allan L., 58, of Sweet Valley, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Kingston on June 8, 1951, he recently retired from the Dallas Nursery.
Surviving are his mother, Dolores Cragle Kittle, of Sweet Valley; his wife, the former Judy Naugle; sons, Tommy A., of Hanover; Tyler J., Corey J. and Josh A., all at home; brother, Keith, of McKendree; and a sister, Cheryl Eicke, of Sweet Valley.
NULTON – Ronald A. Sr., 61, of Beaumont, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was employed as a boilermaker, prior to becoming disabled. He was a member of the NRA and the Boilermakers Union.
Surviving are his children, Barbara Jeanne Juckett, Laceyville; Judy Anne Simon, Harveys Lake; Ronald Arthur Jr., Harveys Lake; Gertrude Lynn Pannell, Leomininster, Mass.; William Bruce, Noxen; 14 grandchildren; brother, Bob, Tunkhannock; Edward Beaumont, Irvin, Noxen; Cifford, Noxen; sisters, Joan, Sweet Valley; Susan Schooley, Harveys Lake; Sharon Collins, Montrose; and Betty Norris, Wyoming.

WELLS - Ralph L., 76 of Tunkhannock, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at home.
Born Sayre on December 5, 1932, he worked most of his life as a dairy farmer. He also worked as a landscaper and a blacktopper.
Surviving are five sons, Terry, of Ephrata; Gary, of Tunkhannock; Randy, of Mehoopany; Allen and David, both of Jenningsville; a daughter, Vickie Ayers, of Taylor; two brothers, Carl, of New Era; and William, of New Albany; two sisters, Shirley Wells, of Towanda; and Jean Wells, of Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
