Sampson Memorial

A memorial service honoring the life and works of local artist Martha Fray Sampson, of Tunkhannock, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov.30, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 105 Irem Rd, Dallas.

Sampson, who died on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 at the age of 80, was a charter member of Trinity Presbyterian and also the first ordained women elder.

Light refreshments will be served following the service.
