The Lake-Lehman School District announces the second installment of the Kindergarten Readiness Program for children planning to enter kindergarten next fall. The program will feature Reading Readiness.
The Ethics Institute of Northeastern Pennsylvania at Misericordia University recently presented Attorney Joseph L. and Ms. Patrice Persico, of Shavertown, with the Sister Siena Finley Ethics Award during the 18th Annual Ethics Institute Dinner at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, Plains Township.
Misericordia University honored Alan and Evelyn Finlay of Dallas by naming them recipients of the 2009 Trustee Associates Award during the annual Trustee Associates Awards Dinner in Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The Misericordia University drama club, Misericordia Players, is presenting three performances of William Shakespeare’s “Comedy of Errors,” beginning Thursday, Nov. 19, in Lemmond Theater in Walsh Hall. The Nov. 19-21 showings all begin at 8 p.m.
