Second-grade students at the Lehman-Jackson Elementary School held a Veterans Day program to honor area veterans. Students sang songs, recited poetry and presented veterans with gifts they made in their class.

The following sixth-grade students in the Lake-Lehman School District have attained Honor Roll status for the first marking period of the 2009-2010 school year.

Times Leader Photo Galleries The Lake-Lehman football field was a beehive of activity prior to the start of the Old Shoe Game between the Black Knights and the Dallas High School Mountaineers as Homecoming and Parents’ Night ceremonies were held. Annie VanScoy was crowned the 2009 Lake-Lehman Homecoming Queen by Gabi Dragon, last year’s queen, and senior members of the football team, cheerleading squad and the band, along with their parents, were honored.

MU Alumni Association plans Santa Brunch

The Misericordia University Alumni Association will hold its 11th Annual Brunch with Santa from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Banks Student Life Center on campus in Dallas.

DMS plans American Education Week activities

The Dallas Middle School will celebrate American Education Week November 16- 20.
