Children’s Association plans Orthopedic Clinic for Dec. 11

Wyoming Valley Children’s Association’s is now accepting referrals for its Orthopedic Clinic which will be held on Friday, Dec. 11, at the Volunteers in Medicine Building, 190 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Wilkes-Barre.

The clinic, which was begun in 1924, provides evaluations, recommendations and follow-up services for children and adolescents up to 21 years of age.

Held six times a year, the clinic is staffed by Dr. John Parenti, Director of the Department of Orthopedics at Geisinger Medical Center and is funded, in part, by the Blue Ribbon Foundation of Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
