DMS plans American Education Week activities

The Dallas Middle School will celebrate American Education Week November 16- 20.

Sixth-grade parents are invited to visit from 10 a.m. to noon and 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16. Seventh and eighth-grade parents are invited to visit from 9 to 10:15 a.m. and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

All middle school students will participate in an assembly entitled, “Stick and Stones” facilitated by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office regarding cyber bullying and internet safety on Wednesday, Nov. 18.

Eighth-grade students will travel to the high school to see “Twelve Angry Jurors,” a play performed by the high school students on Thursday, Nov. 20.

The week will finish with a school-wide presentation of “Oliver Twist” performed by the Hampstead Players, a nationally-known performing group.
