Lake-Lehman lady cagers win first-half championship

The Lake-Lehman girls varsity basketball team defeated Nanticoke, 41-34, to claim the first-half championship in the Wyoming Valley Basketball League. Members of the team are, from left, first row, Kati Yoniski and Marissa Moosic. Second row, Ashley Blazaskie, Alex Lubinski, Morgan Decker and Sara Brooks. Third row, Emily Leskowski, Devon Boyle, Nikki Sutliff, Selena Adamshick, Erica Johnson, Alexa Decker, Gaby Olshemski, Jessica Neare, Kristen Baker and Carol Mosier.The Lake Lehman girls basketball team will hold Senior Night between the junior varsity and varsity games against Wyoming Seminary on Thursday, Feb. 11.
