The Orioles defeated the Phillies, 16-2, to win the Major League championship in the Back Mountain Little League.

The Orioles were led by the pitching and hitting of Matt Ross who struck out 13 Phillies and added two triples at the plate in the win.
Jake Archer had three hits, including a triple, Jonathan Sabatini had two hits with a triple and Adam Niznik and Matt Moleski added two hits each for the victors.
Lee Eckert III, Daniel Mingey and Matt Harrison all had singles for the Phillies.

Lee Eckert III smashed a towering two-run homer, ripped an RBI single and added a sacrifice fly to lead the Phillies to a 10-4 win over the Pirates in the National League championship game.
Eckert also pitched four solid innings, allowing only two runs. Cody Long and Rosario Bevevino pitched well in relief.
Chad Phillips’ bunt single and Matthew Reynolds’ two-run single were key hits in the Phillies’ five-run first inning. Bevevino also had two hits, including a double.
Jonathan Wilson, Chris Mennig, Kyle James and Michael Casey all singled for the Pirates.
