Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Karrott celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Karrott celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 30. They were married in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Wyoming, by the late Monsignor A. B. Grauzlis.

Mrs. Karrott is the former Sandra Yodis, daughter of the late Martin and Arline Yodis. of Plymouth. She is a 1963 graduate of Plymouth High School.

Mr. Karrott is the son of the late Joseph and Viola Karrott, of West Wyoming. He graduated from Wyoming Valley Technical Institute in 1960. Mr. Karrott proudly served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964.

Their attendants were Judy Chopyak, sister of the bride; the late Joseph R. Karrott, brother of the groom; Sylvia Mattey, cousin of the groom; and the late Richard Mattey.

Mr. and Mrs. Karrott have two daughters: Doreen Karrott, of Swoyersville, and Janet Jones, who resides with her husband Richard in Lehman. The couple has a grandson, Steven Shatrowskas, of Swoyersville and a grandpuppy, Loki Bear Jones, of Lehman.

A family dinner was held to celebrate the occasion.
