Savvi by Sarno and Son unveils the â??Pink Ribbon Collectionâ? of Menâ??s Formalwear to raise awareness and support for Susan G. Komenâ?˘ in the fight against breast cancer.
Savvi by Sarno and Son is a participating Savvi Formalwear member and has designated special tuxedo styles to be â??Pink Ribbon Collectionâ?. These styles when chosen by customers will help contribute to a guaranteed minimum donation by Savvi of $33,000 in 2012.
Savvi by Sarno and Son along with the Savvi Formalwear companies believe that within the celebratory nature of their business that there is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges many have faced, and couple that with an opportunity to give back.
â?? In conceiving the idea for the â??Pink Ribbon Collectionâ? at Savviâ??s Summer Convention, attendees were asked how many knew of friends or family touched by breast cancer? The response had about 75% of the hands raised in the air. That was enough for Savvi Companies, made up of long standing small businesses in markets across North America to reach out to Susan G. Komen to present the Pink Ribbon Collection idea. â?? said Greg Goodwin, Marketing Chairman of Savvi Formalwear.
Customers visiting Savvi by Sarno and Son can look for the designated â??Pink Ribbonâ? styles and choose them knowing that at their special event they have helped others. Customers can also visit savvibysarno.com click on the â??Pink Ribbon Collectionâ? logo to see available styles in the collection. In addition, participating stores will also be collecting additional donations from customers who wish to contribute to the cause.
Savvi by Sarno and Son has served the northeast for over 70 years with five locations in northeaster Pa.
