Jennifer Ann Wilk and Michael John Ciupinski were united in marriage Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Friedman Farms in Dallas by the Rev. Wayne Kaufman.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Linda Wilk, Hanover Township. She is the granddaughter of William Knight and Edith Goodwin and the late Stanley and Lillian Wilk.
The groom is the son of Matthew Ciupinski, Swoyersville, and Patricia Nardelli, Scranton. He is the grandson of the late Matthew and Maydell Ciupinski and the late Abram and Frances Daniels.
The bride was given away in marriage by her father. She chose her friend, Danielle Duke, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Wilk, sister-in-law of the bride; Kimberly Ciupinski, sister of the groom; Holly Humanik, cousin of the bride; and Lauren Brennan, Laura Heydt-Adams, and Nikki Kovalik, friends of the bride.
The groom chose his friend, Andy Kovalik, as his best man. Groomsmen were Michael Wilk, brother of the bride; Joseph Humanik, cousin of the bride; and Matthew Kelly, Dave Murry, Jeff Pollock and Tony Deljudice; friends of the groom.
Flower girls were Kathryn Vargo and Isabelle Wilk, nieces of the bride, and Kendyl Ciupinski, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Brayden Pope.
A bridal shower was held at the Wyoming Valley Country Club, hosted by the mothers of the bride and groom and bridesmaids. The parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Bentley's in Ashley.
The bride is employed by the Hazleton Health and Wellness Center, and the groom is employed by Bridon American.
The couple honeymooned to Paradise Island, Bahamas. They reside in Hanover Township.
