Christian Women crown Blessed Virgin Mary

The Christian Women of Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, held a crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary at their October meeting. A covered dish supper completed the evening. The November meeting will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the rectory. A Mass will be celebrated at that time for deceased members and moderators. Hostesses for November are Sue Cosgrove and Peggy Jones. Reservations will be accepted for the Christmas party scheduled at 1 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Plains Ambulance Association on Maffett Street.
