Due to the generosity of The Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Auxiliary's Fund Advisors of the Luzerne Foundation, the Association for the Blind will be able to provide vision rehabilitation services and low vision aids to individuals whose vision cannot be improved to a functional level through conventional methods, such as standard glasses, contact lenses, medicine or surgery. Services will include a vision evaluation, the determination and dispensing of the appropriate low vision aids and training. All services will be performed or overseen by a doctor of optometry.
