Kwon, Kropp

Alexis Marguerite Kropp and Young-Nam Kwon were united in marriage on Oct. 6, 2012, in an indoor ceremony at the Westmoreland Club with the Rev. Charles H. Grube officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John and Sylvia Kropp, Shavertown. She is the granddaughter of the late Irene and Sesto Santarelli, Wyoming, and the late William and Augusta Cutten, Wyoming.

The groom is the son of Myong Soon and Tae Moon Kwon, Philadelphia.

The bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father. She chose her sisters, Madeline and Caroline Kropp, as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were friends, Sarah Cazella and Elizabeth Frosini, and the groom's sister-in-law, Megan Mead. The bride's cousin, Sabrina Karapellou, served as the flower girl.

The groom chose his best friend, Brian Kaufman, and his brother, Young Min Kwon, as best men. Groomsmen were Thomas Boyle, Joseph Casey and Justin DePhillips, all friends of the groom. The groom's nephew, Finn Mead Kwon, and the bride's cousin, Nicholas Karapelou, served as ring bearers.

Music selections were led by the Valenches Music Company.

The bride's parents hosted an evening cocktail hour and reception at the Westmoreland Club for friends and family. Entertainment was provided by Loftus Entertainment. All floral arrangements were by Floral Designs, Forty Fort, and photography was by Mo Gallagher Photography. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by Marjorie, Samantha and Olivia Marquart in their Dallas home. The bride was honored at a bridal shower given by her aunt, Marilyn Santarelli, and late grandmother Irene Santarelli, at Canteen 900, Forty Fort.

Alexis is a 1999 graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Kingston, and earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Rosemont College, Rosemont. She is employed by Pride Mobility Products, Exeter, as the director of marketing.

Young is a 1987 graduate of Northeast High School, Philadelphia, and attended Kutztown University, Kutztown. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marines Corp and is employed at Pride Mobility Products, as a scooter technician service representative.

The couple honeymooned in Reykjavik, Iceland. They reside in Dallas with their beagle-Shih Tzu puppy, Sassafras.
