With food banks in Pennsylvania experiencing some critical funding cuts this year, United Way was recently able to assist a number of local pantries, including one at the Domestic Violence Service Center (DVSC), with some much needed support. Funds were made available from donations to United Way's Annual Christmas in July Food Drive competition.
