Members of the Luzerne County Community College Brothers and Sisters in Christ (BASIC) Club recently performed Christmas carols at the college's Campus Center Rotunda. The group also distributed hot chocolate and cookies to students and staff. During the event, the BASIC Club, Student Government Association and other student clubs collected new or used children's books for the LCCC literary initiative and travel-sized toiletries for ‘We Care' packages for the local needy. Participants also created handmade cards for victims of Hurricane Sandy living at the Atlantic City Mission and for veterans or active military personnel.
