WINTER PARK, Colo. – Stephanie Jallen, 16, from Harding, won two gold medals at the U.S. Nationals at Winter Park Colorado this past weekend.
Jallen won a medal in the Giant Slalom and another in Slalom.
Prior to the U.S. Nationals, Jallen was ranked 11th in the world in Slalom and second in the U.S. and could gain valuable point in Nationals and possibly improve on her world rankings.
Jallen has already qualified for the Paralympic Games in Sochi, Russia in 2014. She is scheduled to participate in the IPC Alpine Skiing NORAM Cup at Kimberly, Canada, on Jan. 28-31.
