WYALUSING – Austin Harry (132 pounds) and Robert Wright (160) each won with falls on Thursday as Lake-Lehman defeated Wyalusing 36-27 in a non-conference wrestling meet.


John Tomasura (113), Josh Sayre (138), Josh Winters (145) and Derek Dragon (170) all won with decisions for the Black Knights, who took down Wyalusing, which is one of the top teams in District 4 every year.

Finals can be seen

The finals of the NHSCA Final Four Festival can be seen live on www.nhsca.com.


The top two ranked teams in the country, Blair Academy and Wyoming Seminary, will be participating in the dual tournament in York on Saturday and wrestling fans will be able to see the possible showdown live.


Benton, which is ranked in the top 40 in the nation, is also participating in the event, which begins at 9 a.m.


H.S. BOYS BOWLING
Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech 4, Hazleton Area 0

Dave Shutovich led Hazleton Area with high game of 208 and series of 580. Anthony Sidari followed with a high game of 214 and a 548 series.


H.S. GIRLS BOWLING

Hazleton Area's Alyssa Balicki captured high series honors with a 550. Shannon Smith had a 521 series and a high game of 216.


Men's Basketball
PSU-WB 68, SUNY ESF 58

Travis Dunlap scored a team-high 15 points to lead Penn State Wilkes-Barre to a win over SUNY ESF at home.


Bre'yan Williams and Jacob Bronder each scored 11 points for PSU Wilkes-Barre. Bronder had a double-double for PSU Wilkes-Barre also pulling down 10 rebounds.
