The Pennsylvania Department of the Office of Long Term Living (OLTL) has designated a local representative to serve on its Quality Council for the second time.
Mia Bartoletti of CareGivers America, a family owned and operated home healthcare company, was appointed to a two year term with the Council.
The Office of Long Term Living contracts with providers, such as CareGivers America, to provide home-based services designed to support the disabled and elderly populations of Pennsylvania.
Services include care coordination, personal care assistance, transportation, meal preparation and more.
The Quality Council's primary role is to identify quality concerns and recommend improvements to the OLTL programs. In addition to recommending strategies for improving quality, the Quality Council may also provide policy input into any new processes related to quality management.
‚??Consumers across Pennsylvania have seen significant improvements to homecare services over the past years. The industry has placed a major focus on enhancing the quality of homecare through a collaborative effort that brings providers, consumers, and state decision makers to the same table. As a team, we can together take steps to improve the lives of our consumers, our friends, and our families,‚?Ě says Bartoletti.
