The late Rev. Paul Baier married them in St. Boniface Church, Wilkes-Barre.

The young couple bought their home on Hughes Street, Wilkes-Barre, in which they would raise their family.
After being blessed with four children, Danette and husband Michael Bielecki of Centermoreland, Colleen and husband Thomas Jorda of Shavertown, Molly and husband Bill Ryan of Forty Fort and Ray and wife Heather of Mukwonago, Wis., the couple fulfilled their dream of living in the country by moving to Dorrance.
