Slovak Club donates to Wounded Warrior Project

The North End Slovak Citizens Club, chartered on March 10, 1926, recently donated $500 to the Wounded Warrior Project. The club, 637 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, has 1,500 members. At the check presentation, from left: Michael Mallis, representative for the Wounded Warrior Project; Andrew Kopko, club steward and member of the board of governors, North End Slovak Citizens Club; Bruce Braden, Dine and Donate program, which benefits the Wounded Warrior Projects and is sponsored by the Lone Star Restaurant, Wilkes-Barre; and Joseph Hvozdovic, past president and sergeant of arms, North End Slovak Citizens Club.
