Why adopt two cats? Let us count the ways. One benefit is that two cats provide each other with exercise, social interaction and other forms of mental stimulation. Another positive impact is they always have a playmate. So, if they are feeling a little rambunctious at 2 a.m., they can entertain each other. Kelly and her baby Pebbles are two more victims of animal abandonment. They were found at the top of the driveway in a duct-taped box. Pebbles still had the umbilical cord attached. Kelly is a baby herself at just 11 months old. Both kittens are in a foster home and are desperately hoping for a permanent residence soon.
