Heights-Murray Elementary School held its ninth annual spelling bee in January. The competition included a list of words for the fifth- and sixth-grade students to spell. Thirty-two students participated. The winner advances to the Times Leader/Scripps spelling bee at the Woodlands Inn and Resort.
