The Wyoming Valley Conference, in general, and the Back Mountain, in particular, were their usual hotbed of field hockey activity in the first week of February when NCAA Letters of Intent were signed.

Two Back Mountain residents who were part of Wyoming Seminary winning three state titles in the last four years and two Dallas players were among those who signed with Division I programs while another Dallas player formalized a Division II commitment.

On National Signing Day Feb. 5, four Division I athletes from Wyoming Seminary’s state Class AA champions, including Molly Turner to Villanova University and Rebecca Schulman to Monmouth University, took part in a signing ceremony at the school.
